October is Cyber Security Awareness Month and an annual reminder for Australians to stay secure online.

Hackers have become more and more sophisticated with their hacks, with the ability to sit in your mailbox and watch your emails, learning patterns and waiting for the best chance to intercept.

Some great steps to ensure you are cyber secure, are turning on automatic software updates, regularly backing up your devices, switching on multi-factor authentication, using passphrases, securing mobile devices, and watching out for cyber scams.
